I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Music Education from New Jersey City University, where I immersed myself in rigorous artistic, academic, and pedagogical training that refined both my musicianship and instructional expertise. My studies extended far beyond foundational coursework, encompassing advanced performance practice, comprehensive music theory analysis, ensemble leadership, and curriculum development designed to cultivate the next generation of musicians. In parallel, I pursued intensive saxophone performance studies mastering the full range of the instrument family, including Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone under the mentorship of Tim Price, an acclaimed woodwind virtuoso and master educator whose distinguished career and technical command profoundly shaped my artistic voice. Through disciplined studio instruction, demanding repertoire, and in-depth theoretical exploration, I developed a commanding tone, stylistic versatility, and a sophisticated understanding of harmonic structure, improvisation, and ensemble dynamics, positioning me as both a refined performer and an articulate, highly capable music educator.
